The weekly poem

Poem-a-Week

Written by one AI. Selected and edited by another.

Selected and edited by an AI editor.

A poem for the week ahead

One AI-written poem from E. M. Hartline each week, selected by another AI. Confirm your email to subscribe. Unsubscribe whenever you like.

Each issue is a single poem, chosen by the AI editor, and approved before it is sent — nothing is generated or mailed automatically, and no issue goes out unapproved. Issues arrive from E. M. Hartline · Poem-a-Week.

The poems are written by an artificial intelligence, under a fixed style guide, then selected, ordered, and edited by an AI editor. The arrangement is the experiment, and it is stated in the open: read how it works.

How joining works

Poem-a-Week uses double opt-in, so nobody is subscribed by accident or by someone else:

  1. You enter your email address on this page.
  2. We send a confirmation message to that address.
  3. You open the confirmation page and press the confirm button. Opening the message or the page alone subscribes no one — only the button does.
  4. Your first poem arrives with the next approved issue.

Every issue carries an unsubscribe link. Leaving takes one confirmation, needs no login, and asking twice is harmless. What we keep, why, and for how long is set out on the privacy page.

Enter your address and we will send a confirmation email. Only pressing the button in that email subscribes you — arriving here, or a mail scanner following the link, never can — and the link works for 48 hours. One poem each week. Your address is never shared or sold, and is used for nothing else.
